The Prier P-164 has all the characteristics of the historically proven Prier wall hydrants with the added benefit of an easy operating quarter turn valve that features a proven compression type seal. The P-164 is the easiest operating valve available. The P-164 features a soft grip operating handle for easy operation in wet conditions or cold weather. Prier Wall Hydrants provides a year round source of water to areas that are subject to freezing temperatures. The hydrant valve is connected to the supply piping in the heated portion of the structure, eliminating the possibility of freezing.

Self-draining. Mansfield anti-siphon frost proof hillocks assure protection against freezing and undesirable back-siphoning. Because they’re frost proof, they can stop outside hydrants from freezing and bursting the pipes. Plus, the anti-siphon feature protects against water siphoning back to contaminate the potable water system. Also, unlike anti-siphon attachments, which must be manually drained to prevent freezing, the integral anti-siphon design is self-draining. 1/2″ sweat inside, 1/2″ IPS outside.
