I have had this machine for a few months now.Great price point, great size, I love the slimline case.Speed is adequate, definitely not a fast high end processor but is great for basic stuff that most of us will use it for.Could use a few more usb Jacks and could use less Acer bloat ware but at this price I am not complaining.Oh yeah, takes an ether net connection no internal wifi,I have this already so no big deal but for some this may be an issue.

********UPDATE******** 11/15/17- Had this machine for 3 years now, upgraded to Windows 10.Still running strong.Not sure why others have reported it to be slow, this processor does just fine for me.Boots ok, not super fast , not super slow on boot up.I use mainly Google Chrome, Quick Books, MS Office, I tunes, and a couple of other software/apps.Still top points for me are the slim line case, doesn’t take up a bunch of room in my office and price point.Obviously if you are gaming or doing graphics or video a $300 computer is not going to cut it. Remember this machine is hard wire ethernet only or have your own wifi adapter, there is not built in wifi with this machine.

This PC isn’t bad for its price. We use it for just casual use like surfing the Web, streaming shows and listening to music and it holds up ok. Every now and then it bogs down but what do you expect from a $220 computer? It’s been pretty reliable since we bought it.

Update 12/27/15
So we’ve had this computer for close to a year now and we still really like it. It is now running a fully licensed copy of Windows 10 and it’s running considerably faster.Every now and then this PC bogs down still from having a Web page with too many graphics on it or when streaming in HD it does slow down but that’s because the graphics card is a little weak. Other than that everything is working very nicely. I’ve been really impressed with the build quality of all the hardware. We ABUSE our USB ports so much and we haven’t had a single one die. I’m keeping it at a 4/5 stars because we have tried to use it for a little more than just Web surfing and it does struggle a little with multiple applications open but other than that it’s a good budget PC.

This is a horrible slow computer.It comes over loaded with Bloatware…basically any group that has something you can buy installs a bit of software.The result is a computer that just barely functions.I literally can not surf the internet… there is so much disk processing it is slower than a dial up connection.I’m really shocked at just how bad this computer is.I plan to buy a new version of Windows and do a clean install… if that fails I’ll just throw this POS away.

Ok, so I spent less than $300, but this computer runs like someone installed windows 8 on a 486. It literally takes more than 10 minutes just watching the “Welcome” circle as I wait for my user to be logged in. I have almost nothing installed on it: Avg av, and powerpoint viewer; there is no excuse for this, I don’t care how cheap it is.
This was only used to display a powerpoint presentation and it still fails miserably at it’s job.
